Description:
"Talbot" was less than a year old when she was at Adelaide's Outer Harbor No3 Berth. Note the spare screw on her stern.
Onlookers on the wharf? - "Angelina Lauro" had just departed from the adjacent Berth. The chap in summer uniform? - The S.A. Harbors Board Wharfinger in charge. Cranes in the background? - repairing the No1 Berth after P&O's "Iberia" had crashed into it a few months earlier.
