Hi Jens, she is used in a variety of roles. Launch, rope boat, work boat, pilot boat and tug for smaller vessels too.Read here about the tragic accident of her sister launch. Skipper died. My friend was onboard. terrible accident. Pilot gave the master of the trawler to speed up and failed to relay same to the skipper of the launch resulting in the capsize. https://www.timeslive.co.za/news/south-africa/2017-02-05-skipper-missing-after-cape-town-harbour-launch-capsizes/ smaller vessels too.

Hi Brett, a launch could be anything I guess. Do you happen to know her main purpose?
Otherwise I would suggest the "Work boat" category if she's no (inland) tug.
