Hi libertyshiplad. Its simply like nautical furnishing decoration. The same with the wheelhouse, funnel, etc... Its a barge converted to restaurant. Even the two lifeboats came from a dead tanker called Border Springer. Thanks for your comment.

Assume she is permanently moored, otherwise how would they launch the lifeboat?

Hi Rick my friend. Yes, looks like authentic and the 2 lifeboats shows BORDER SPRINGER, London. May be the wheelhouse and some extras at the top deck like the huge search light come from an old tugboat, fishing or workboat. Its a converted barge that in Cartagena area its called Patacha and more or less 25 to 30 meters lenght and 7 to 8 meters beam. I have couple more shots from different angles and closer that shows some more interesting details. Waiting to see you again later in the year at the Canary Islands my friend. Thanks for your kind comments.

Hi Señor V, an interesting image. I couldn't find any history for the restaurant, but I do like the old wheelhouse and funnel - which look authentic, perhaps salved. The lifeboat appears to be from a ship registered in London.
I hope everything is ok for you; see you later in the year.
Saludos, Rick
