Power: Deutz, 6-Cyl., 470 hp.The tugboat"Flensburg" was first put into service in 1954 as "BUGSIER 9" by the Bugsier shipping company. It served from 1973-1992 for the Flensburger Schiffbau-Gesellschaft and icebreaker for the Wasser- und Schifffahrtsamt Glückstadt.After its decommission the former captain took over the tugboat and refurbished it with the help of a group retired friends.It was donated to the historical harbour of Flensburg in 2014. The complicated and elaborate maintenance of the boat is provided by volunteering boat enthusiasts that keep it ready for regatta escorts and charter thips.
