Description:

RIVER-BOAT laid up at a small shipyard at the entrance to Fährkanal (vis-á-vis of Landungsbrücken), Hamburg, 14.08.2018

The small shipyard (a pontoon and a small floating dock) where she is laid up belongs to Kapitän Prüsse according to the local media. (Just about two weeks ago the prosecutor's office was suspecting Prüsse of running the shipyard without legal permission and was searching his offices and ships...)

On the other side of the pontoon there is the inland dry cargo vessel TANNENBERG spending her remaining years as a floating storage...

Just judging by her looks those better times seem to have come to an end long ago, Gerolf. Sad to see such a nice old lady spending the rest of her existence rusting away as some kind of a floating waste disposal site...

I crossed on that vessel river Elbe from Schulau to Lühe, when she had better times.
