I think some of the information in port history above refers to another ship. She was built in Japan, went to South Korea for bunkers and then proceeded on this voyage.
Not sure what her movements are after Timaru, but the holds could get dirtied with logs for the return trip.

Thank you kindly for the info. I thought she was quite new by her condition and the lack of an entry in Miramar. I was a bit confused however by her Port History, above.

On her maiden voyage with a cargo of palm kernel cattle feed from Johore Bahru and Pasir Gudang, Malaysia for discharge at Wellington and Timaru.
