Description:
Seen on Nieuw Waterweg between Hoek and Maassluis heading towards Rotterdam while on Thames Ship Society "Diane" cruise. Vessel built by Cockerill, Hoboken yard number 843. Registered Panama for Eastcross Sea Transport Inc managed by Hanseatic Shipping Co.Ltd. Scrapped Feb 1992 at Alang. She is one of eight ships of type "Unity" - six for Yugoslavia in 1969 and two for Parley Augustsson in 1979 - see IMO 7604817 for one of the latter.
