Trawling through my archives I came up with this colourful shot of the wharfage in Dubai Creek taken in June 2005. The facility was constructed in 1993 prior to which local vessels (dhows and launches) would moor fairly randomly along the creek. I counted 76 visible vessels and there are others out of shot.
