Don't know Jan, the OCEANIC could be renamed PORTIC or HARBOURIC which would suit her very much as she has spent her days in Malta idle ,moored and scant if any work undertaken.
regards and thanks

OCEANICs 2 ME were taken out a couple of days ago,no idea if been reappraised or replaced. How ever sth. is going on with her.

"Utility" inspired design for luxury yachts?. Maybe for their tenders yes, but for the yachts themselves. no sir.
Thanks and regards.

Love the "utility" inspired design!

The OLIVIA O design is a sharp design Capt. Ted ,but will it be your choice for your yacht? I still have my doubts, maybe this design will eventually "grow on you" as time pass and more are launched, I am more for the classical design of the 1930s, even if they are replicas built these days.

Thanks David for the info on the OLIVIA O. Shall we be seeing this yacht design more frequently? Could this be the future?
regards and thanks

Managed by Zodiac Maritime, London so probably named after businesswoman Olivia Ofer, daughter of head of Zodiac, Eyal Ofer.

I would have thought that some under-water-line work is being undertaken
Emmanuel.L on Sep 10, 2018 13:30 (4 months ago)
Yes, the OLIVIA O is in no.2 dock at Palumbo, but I don't know if she is doing interior outfitting.
The OCEANIC seems to has become part of the local harbour scene, no work is being undertaken, it seems that the conversion project ahs been abandoned??
rd77 on Sep 10, 2018 10:53 (4 months ago)
Is that the Palumbo yard?
This is the first yacht by the Ulstein yard of Norway. Probably came to Malta for final interior outfitting.
Also good to see the OCEANIC/ORKA SULTAN is still around.
