This vessel was built by Houma Industries, Houma Louisiana, in 1994 as a casino vessel named STATION CASINO BELLE, used in Lake Charles, LA. When interpretation of laws were changed to allow business groups to build casinos ashore, the vessel went up for sale and was picked up by Hornblower Cruises to be a tour and charter vessel in San Francisco CA. Her U.S. Official number is 1026108. Although over 1000 GRT, she apparently has no IMO number, probably by virtue of being non-seagoing, despite her delivery trip from Louisiana to California.
