Description:

US Military Sealift Command Sergeant Matej Kocak class prepositioning ship tied up along the Elizabeth River near Marine Hydraulics Incorporated in Norfolk VA.
She is optimized to be loaded with cargo and be held in ports close to areas where US Troops may have to be deployed. When deployed, the troops fly in and meet their heavy equipment off the ship to allow quicker deployments.
Her abilities include cranes to unload her alongside unprepared quays, space for containers, space for vehicle parking, potable water and fuel tanks along with a helicopter landing pad. Her crew is 34 along with 10 technicians to maintain her cargo.
