Description:

World famous super yacht converted from Canadian naval vessel built in 1943...75years ago. registered in Malta, berthed at Pinto wharf.

Incidentally today 23-9-18 marks the 7 years since I have posted the first photo on the site on 23-9-2011

An interesting fact re the CHRISTINA 0 is that when she was converted by Aristotle Onassis the bar stools in her bar where made from the very soft and fine leather made from whales foreskins, and they are still in place.....I don't think that they will get away with it along with exotic animal furs these days.

As HMCS STORMONT K327 , the CHRISTINA 0 took part in the D-Day landings on Normandy beaches.She also served as convoy escort in the Atlantic battles against U-boats.

My friend great photo and congrats on the anniversary. Always enjoy your photos and I admit, I am a little jealous as I would love to visit Malta. Oh, just an FYI, she was converted from a Royal Canadian river class frigate.
