Personally it was a great moment when NCL acquired the France as their were so many proposals made during her layup in Le Havre from 1974 to 1979 and although it was a big risk at the time for NCL it certainly paid off as she spent longer in service as the Norway than she did as the France and it certainly started the growth in more larger cruise ships which seems relentless and it's quite unbelievable to think that the Norway would be so small in comparison to today's mega cruise ships.
