VEB Deutsche Seereederei of Rostock, East Germany's, 1965 Warnemünde built XA type HEINZ KAPELLE is seen passing Portishead, outbound from Avonmouth for Rotterdam fifty years ago today, on 16th October 1968. She was on voyage from Calcutta to Gdansk.
Her final voyage from Rostock started in August 1985, to the Far East via Antwerp and Singapore. She finally arrived at Kaohsiung on 30.12.87 for breaking following a voyage from Inchon to Chinhae, South Korea, as NOVSHELL.
