Description:

Odfjell of Bergen's 1963 Gothenburg built CYPRESS is seen passing Portishead, inbound for Avonmouth, on 27th August 1966.

Later: 1968 JAG ANJLI - 79 MAHA JAG ANJLI (all one word in Lloyd's Indexes)

Arrived on Tyne 4th November 1980 - to be renamed Union Trinidad - but it seems that the sale fell through and she never took that name

She was laid up at Bombay 12th May 1982 with breaking commencing locally on 8th April 1983

With 16 000 mt DWT and LOA 155 m she has very small holds (6) and a lot of gear. Was she built to transport cars
from Europe to the US and return with bulk cargo?
