Atlantis Shipping Company's 1954 J.L.Thompson, Sunderland, built ST.MARIE, the former ST.JOHN of South American Saint Line and still registered at Newport (Mon.), is seen passing Portishead, inbound for Avonmouth, on 3rd August 1966. She had sailed from Liverpool on 31st March to New Zealand and was returning to Avonmouth with a cargo of grain.
