South African Railways and Harbours ships were employed in the coal trade from Lourenćo Marques to Cape ports and also possibly to West Africa. Also railway sleepers from Western Australia to the Cape.
Two of their post war ships were the war built Hangklip and Johan Hugo from 1966.

I would like any information on this ship. My father was the Chief engineer when she went to Durban and then back to Denmark. My mother and I were also on board on the return to Denmark, I was only 91/2 months old and had my first birthday on board. Any help would be much appreciated.
