Ascona is a beautyful little town in switzerland at the banks of the lago maggiore. i have family down there and just spent 2 weeks in their hotel.i told them about the ascona built 1971 at rickmers werft for alpina reederei basel ,homeport was also basel. promised them to sent a foto , new i can sent them two ascona only one has the homeport piraeus and is probably owned by a greek company.
