The salt water bulker Apollon is unloading coke while docked on the Black River, a tributary to Lake Erie, in Lorain, Ohio west of Cleveland, Ohio. The Cyprus flagged saltie was built in 1996 and is chartered by Canadian Forest Navigation Ltd. , or CANFORNAVE, of Montreal, Quebec which charters over a dozen vessels that see service on the Saint Lawrence River and North America's Great Lakes. It was difficult to get this photo as the vessel was "spittin' distance" away and the bank of the river lined by thick brush. Taken from a recreational boat launching facility built and maintained by the city of Lorain.
