WELCOME TO SHIPSPOTTING.COM
Description:
When we mention a Fawley pass these days it is usually two large boxboats passing at the widest point in Southampton water, off the Esso Terminal jetties. Back in the days of proper ships it meant something different as in September 1973 when the incoming Esso Anglia is seen passing the last Victory ship to visit Southamptom, the Mankato Victory. She was scrapped 2 months after this picture and the Esso Anglia just 5 years later.
