UCC (United Container Carriers) is basically nothing, it is a very theoretical construction without any real commercial activity.
The ship belongs to the HARTMANN GROUP (Leer, Germany).
UCC comes from the times, when Hartmann planned to open an own container line, but this is of course not so easy, - seen all this mighty competition.
Similar to this there is UBC (also Hartmann via his affiliate Intership-Cyprus, United Bulk Carriers). This really exists and is the commercial department for the Bulk Carriers.
