What I should add to this is the activity on the starboard side of the Sub Tender, pontoon/barges/supply boats from the Sapangar port and then stores from the tender to the sub.

Yes there is a lot going on,the ship in the background is Malaysian coast guard and has been on station since the Sub.Tender arrived,the liberty boat has been going to and from the city centre (10 min.trip) all the time - the green tents are above the hatch opening to the hull - I will try and get a pic of the liberty boat tomorrow as it is 19.30.

The white canvas is covering forward missile tubes and probably preventing damage to the missiles covers.
Tents are for environmental protection on crew hatches.
She is getting some maintenance done and her crew are able to stretch their legs on the sub.

This is a fascinating photograph timbo2. There's so many interesting aspects. Is that a weapons system on her foredeck? On the sub, why the white sheeting at the nose? Looks like some kind of welding work going on too, is that correct? Those guys near the bow on the sub with what appear to be cylinders. What are the green tents too?

Do the crew get some R&R aboard the supply vessel ?
