Description:

MORAN Towing Corporation tug coming out and assisting the incoming USS Arlington (LPD 24) into the NC State Port at Morehead City via the Beaufort Inlet. She used bumpers that I *think* are meant to prevent paint damage when alongside another ship.
She is a traditional design single screw tug built in 1949 as the MOHAWK in Houston, TX (USA). Renamed in 2005 when acquired by Cape Fear Towing, she became part of the MORAN Fleet when that company was bought by them in 2007.
For a working ship that is nearly 70 years old, she looks great IMHO.
