Barge that transports product from the NUTRIEN Mine in Aurora NC to Morehead City NC.
NUTRIEN (previously known as PCS Phosphate and Texas Gulf) mines phosphate products for the food service industry and has a large plant in Aurora NC. Some of the products from there are shipped via barge and the Atlantic Inter Coastal Waterway (ICW) to Morehead City where it is transferred to ocean going vessels for shipment all over the world.
She is being pushed by the tug PAMLICO going north back to Aurora past the community of Sea Gate in Carteret County NC.
