Built 1906 by Ramage & Ferguson, Leith, as “Minona”; later renamed “Cortynia” & “Odysseia”. Requisitioned by Royal Navy during both World Wars & underwent several major refits & remodelling during her lifetime.
Bought 1967 by Richard Burton for Elizabeth Taylor & renamed “Kalizma”
After several other owners she was bought in 1995 by Indian businessman Vijay Vittal Mallya.
In 2006 she completed extensive work (reportedly costing £3 million) to restore her to her original design.
