Built 1937 by Caledon S.&E. Coy at Dundee.
Requisitioned by the Royal Australian Navy for service as Australia's only Minelayer in October 1940.
Returned to her owners post-war. Later sold and renamed "Dampier" then "Eastern Mariner".
Struck a mine in the Saigon River on 26 May 1966; Scrapped in 1968.
