Another year has passed and this former icebreaker remains locked in debt and litigation after the Canadian owners went bankrupt.
No recent news of her future fate.

Built in 1969 as an icebreaker by Wärtsilä, Helsinki, Finland (389), 4,998 g.t. as:-
'Njord' to 2000 &
'Polar Star' since.

Converted in 2000 to a passenger & cruise vessel.

Nice shot. I remember seeing her and her sisters, ODEN & TOR, in Stockholm in 1971 under the Swedish flag. I will have to dig out the photos one day.
