The Asterix tied up at Victoria's Ogden Point docks, December 26, 2018. The converted containership is owned by Federal Fleet, a subsidiary of Davie Shipyard in Levi Quebec and chartered by the Royal Canadian Navy. She manned by a joint navy and civilian crew. She arrived in Victoria with the frigate HMCS Calgary after a deployment in the Southwest Pacific. After a maintenance period she will head back to the SW Pacific accompanied by the frigates Hmcs Vancouver and Regina. (Photo © Dennis J. Dubinsky)
