Keel laid 05th May 1948 , launched 27thMARCH 1949.
Sea trials commenced 07th April 1950 ; Commisiioned 20thApril 1950 . In January 1951 established new Companies : Polish Ocean Lines and Polish Steamship Company ( POLSTEAM ) . From that time the vessel served for POLSTEAM . Sold for breakers ( West of Scotland Shipbreaking ) 07th August 1978 ; Breaking commenced 02nd April 1979.
