Rio wasn't abandoned. I found the information about her in a RoosePartners Casualty Newsletter. On 12 December 2018 She grounded on southern coast of Novorossiysk Bay after being caught in bad weather and dragging her anchor. The vessel, with 150 m/t of fuel oil on board, called for tugs after she began to drag her anchor but the tugs were unable to reach the casualty due to the conditions and the vessel grounded. Possible hull damage and salvage claim.
