Description:

Polish Steamship Company (PZM)'s 1965 Szczecin built B455 type KRAKOW is seen approaching the locks at Brunsbüttel on 18th June 1969 bound for her home port of Szczecin, probably from West Africa on Uniafrica service.

1970: transferred to Polish Ocean Lines
1982: transferred to Polish Shipping Association

She sailed from Szczecin for the last time on 25.2.84 bound for Mogadiscio, Somalia, and finally arrived at Lian Hua Shan, Guangdong Province, on 9.6.84 for breaking

B-455 general cargo series from Szczecin Shipyard, with their characteristic architecture, followed series B-55. Intended for Africa service, they were equipped with air conditioning accommodation.
First batch of nine ships, with Cegielski 7D55 main engine and refrigerated lower hold No.4 were built for Polish Steamship Company. In 1970, all of them were transferred to Polish Ocean lines. They were:
