Description:

E.H.Maritime Poseidon of Limassol's 1956 Burntisland built SALAMINA is seen in the Kiel Canal passing Hochdonn westbound on 4th July 1969 during a voyage from Famagusta to Riga via Antwerp. She was beneficially owned/managed by G.E. Houry (London) Ltd., a company formed in 1965.

She suffered an engine room fire off Cape Juby, on the coast of southern Morocco, on 7th October 1975 during a voyage from Thessaloniki to Lagos with a cargo of bagged cement, was abandoned by her crew and subsequently drifted aground.
