Description:

The 1948 Austin & Pickersgill, Sunderland, built POINT CLEAR, owned by V.N. Mavreas and represented in London by Seaways (London) Ltd (jointly with Rt.Hon.Lord Garvagh), is seen in the Kiel Canal passing Hochdonn on 5th July 1969 during a voyage from Gdansk to Manchester.

She suffered an engine room fire and explosion on 8.7.71 during a voyage from Szczecin to Leith with a cargo of sulphate, sinking off Jutland.
