|Bjarne P.Grytten of Aalesund's 1942 Canadian built coaster VESTFAR, which had been converted from a trawler and re-engined in 1948, is seen passing Hochdonn on the Kiel Canal westbound on 19th July 1969.
Launched for the Canadian Navy as CAMPENIA, and initially serving as BOWELL, she was purchased by Norway in 1948 after operating between 1943 and 1948 as MISCOU.
She sailed as CLEVELAND for Bergen owners until 1950, then as SIGURD HUND until becoming VESTFAR in 1964.
In 1971 she was sold to Danish owners to operate as HANS HANSEN until broken up at Masnedoa, Danish island located between Zealand and Falster, in August 1974.
