Description:

Navarino Shipping & Transport's 1947 Hoogezand built PROSPERITY, the former PRINS ALEXANDER, is seen westbound on the Kiel Canal at Hochdonn on 28th July 1969 during a voyage from Hamina to Venice.

Purchased earlier the same year, she was sold in 1970 to become IOANNIS, then in 1974 IOANNIS B., in 1977 APOSTOLOS B. and in 1980 POLIAIGOS as which she was wrecked off Shadwan Island 28.12.80 on a voyage from Piraeus to Gizan with a cargo of cement.
