Good question. Right hand drive trucks and buses are no longer allowed to be imported into Russia, but it's business as usual for regular cars. Any ban on such cars would immediately leave at least 80% of Russian Far East drivers without their "pets"... :)

Yes, Pieter, I think I have written her off a bit prematurely...
I see she has already left Busan anchorage, and is now on her way to Imari in Japan, for the next batch of used cars for Russian customers, I guess...

Whatever her future is, in early 2017 they carried out some very thorough (cosmetic only?) maintenance, compare your shot from a couple of years ago.
