Blue Star Line's 1948 Harland & Wolff, Glasgow, built MELBOURNE STAR is seen passing Gravesend, inbound for London's Royal Docks, early on Sunday 24th August 1969.
She finally sailed from London on 21st June 1972, under the shortened name of MELBO bound for Kaohsiung for breaking, arriving there on 7th August 1972.
