She was commissioned in 1964, is 210.5 feet long, weighs 759 tons, draws 10.5 feet, and has a crew of 12 officers and 63 enlisted personnel.
By tradition, the Cutter Diligence is based in Wilmington NC, however in a move to increase security and reduce logistic costs, she is scheduled to shift port to Pensacola FL. She will be eventually replaced by the new Offshore Patrol Cutter just entering production.
Taken from the fantail on the USS North Carolina (BB 55) on Feb 24th 2019 and is shown at the government dock in downtown Wilmington NC.
