In 1972 mv 'Finse' was sold to Stephenson Clarke Shipping, Newcastle as a dry bulk carrier and was converted into a tanker over the next 18 months and then continued to trade mainly to the Thames Power stations as well as in the European area. I visited her many times as her Thames agent for 'Stevie's' until sold.
