You're welcome adenanthos. I spoke with The port manager this morning and he confirmed "Star Standard" discharged 5,000 metric tonnes at Bayside before continuing its journey to Europe. Depending on the size of vessel they could have as many as a 3 port discharge after leaving Bayside. The port rotation includes Ijmuiden, Vigo(Spain) and a German port (unsure of the name).

Thanks andrecas for your explanation, so part cargo discharged at Bayside after which she continues for IJmuiden for final discharge.

Discharging import cargo. Reefers with frozen fish (Pollock) from Alaska are regular visitors to Bayside port.
Kloosterboer have a large refrigerated warehouse in Bayside where product is transhipped onto trucks for furtherance to U.S.A.
Usual route for these reefers is Dutch Harbour Alaska to Kloosterboer Bayside (For USA East Coast distribution), then Kloosterboer Netherlands (Ijmuiden) for Northern Europe distribution.

Bayside expecting two reefers (with frozen fish) during the month of April.....
