Then when I will order a similar vessel , I will have them design the bridge on a higher deck level.....(yawn) I must have been dreaming.
today is 1 April, and I am fooling myself with all this daydreaming.
Best regards my friends from another shipspotter/photographer and not a ship owner.

Absolutely Clive. It's a common disease on many new Lurssens and also on the latest big CRN's and some Oceancos. I understand the reasoning behind it (uncluttered owner's deck high up in the superstructure) but it's not very attractive I think.

Interesting that you said that. I had to look again and identify the bridge. It really ought to have been placed one deck higher.

I think the lines are quite nice, only think I don't like is that the bridge is all the way down on the first superstructure deck. Surely, the Captain can't see a thing looking forward...

There you go my friend Clive. both Marek and Bjorn are in dispute with your choice. But I don't think we 4 ere ready to order such a similar vessel (rest assured that I am not going to) so it is a matter of her owner's choice...." who pays the piper ,chooses the tune"
best regards to all

OK, so it's big and impressive and cost $300 million - but I'm generally not a fan of Lurssen-designed yachts.
Bjorn Peters on Mar 31, 2019 09:27 (2 months ago)
Stunning and creative design

FLYING FOX not a great beauty?..there are some who may differ. At $300million cost to build, her owners may find that comment a bit negative, but as the sayings goes....Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.
