Translation: My father, who was a dock worker in San Antonio, Chile, in the 60's and 70's, was a friend of the cook on this ship, Mr. Robert Sterling (if I'm spelling his last name correctly). I also had the opportunity to meet Mr. Sterling and a couple of times as a teenager I visited this ship. Later Mr. Sterling was placed on the new PSNC ship, the Oropesa where I also had the opportunity to visit him. Of this gentleman I have the best of memories, a very cheerful, kind and generous person. Without wanting to say this, but because of the age Mr. Sterling was in those years, he must have passed away. But here in San Antonio there is still someone who remembers him very fondly.
