Description:

GRETAFIELD had been built for Hunting at Haverton Hill, Teesside, in 1952 as a tanker and was converted into a dry bulk carrier in 1961. She is seen passing Portishead, inbound for Avonmouth fifty years ago today. on 12th April 1969.

GRETAFIELD was sold in 1972 to become MAYFLOWER X, then in 1974 SIROCO I as which she arrived at Kaohsiung on 5 July 1976 to be broken up.
