The ex-USCGC Sherman WHEC-720 was given to the Sri Lankan Navy August 27, 2018 becoming that country's largest naval vessel. After crew training and vessel maintenance P626 departed Honolulu in March 2019 and is scheduled to arrive in its new homeport of Colombo in May 2019.

“President commissions Navy's new ship "SLNS Gajabahu"
The largest Advanced Offshore Patrol Vessel (AOPV) of the Sri Lanka Navy, P 626, acquired form US Government was commissioned as SLNS 'Gajabahu' by President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, His Excellency Maithripala Sirisena during the Commissioning Ceremony held at the Colombo harbor, yesterday evening (06 June 2019).”
