The Rickmers owned and built (#401) VILLE DE LUMIERE in 1985. She carried this first charter name only for a very short period, so this could be one of the very few shots of her in action.

the other ancestors of Szczecin Shipyard's container ships were four RW 49 vessels from Rickmers Werft.
One of them had longer hull, with Hold No.2 extended by one 40' bay and had three 36/40t cranes installed:
