Description:
The former Carnival Triumph leaving Norfolk VA going east past Fort Monroe Hampton VA on a cruise to the Bahamas.
She was renamed this year after a refit and upgrade in Cadiz Spain of over $200 million dollars.
Originally built in Italy, she can accommodate up to 2754 passengers and 1100 crew with a top speed of 22.5 knots. She flies the flag of the Bahamas.
She was involved in an incident in 2012 where she was seized by the US Marshals in Galveston TX following a lawsuit associated with the COSTA CONCORDIA disaster.
Also, in 2013 she suffered both an engine room fire and a mooring collision.
Hopefully, under the new name she will a have a better time.
