Fitting out at FSG Flensburg. Built for Siem Shipmanagement for charter to Moby Lines. She is of the yard's "RoRo 4100" type of which six ships have already been delivered for various services in the Med.
The ship's name "Leevsten" comes from Low German and means "Dearest". It is reported to be chosen by FSG's shareholders & MD, dedicated to the yard's workforce and their loyalty during a recent crisis following the troubles in the wake of the late delivery of Irish Ferries' "W.B. Yeats".
Note Britanny Ferries' "Honfleur" in the background.

Dat du min Leevsten büst, dat du woll weeßt... a Low-German classic song and a fitting name in this case!

An excellent photo, Oliver.
