The last series of box carriers from Szczecin Shipyard, introduced after type B-178 container ships:
http://www.shipspotting.com/gallery/photo.php?lid=1488214
were B-201/II con-ro's, with open hold in foreship (without hatch covers) and guides on aftship deck.
However, the main cargo space of these versatile, high ice class ships, remains the 2900 m ro-ro lane.
Four vessels seem to have a crane pedestal installed, abaft the container hold - for future upgrade (?).
The shipyard was very proud of the design and achieved building tolerances. When launched, the hulls
utilized the "Wulkan 1" slipway to the maximum, passing the narrowest place with just 5 cm clearance.
Order for at least eight vessels was considered, but finally six were delivered for Transfennica service:
(L = 205,00 m, B = 25,50 m, H = 15,65/ 21,25 m; container capacity: 640 - 660 TEU)
