The old engines, steam turbines, were replaced in 1951 rebuilding by oil engines or not? Thanks for some details.

This Lucania of Fratelli Grimaldi, built 1930 as Prince Robert for Canadian National Railways with three funnels, later named Charlton Sovereign, became Lucania in 1951, scrapped 1962. Very interesting colour picture, thank you for posting it.
