The Santos registered, 1944-6 Odense built Hansa B type, JORGE VELHO is seen passing Hoek van Holland on 21st June 1970 inbound for Rotterdam from Santos during a voyage to Rotterdam, Emden and Hamburg.

Launched on 20.12.44 as KLOSTERTOR for the German Government, she was delivered in February 1946 as DYRNAES to the Danish Government but soon passed to D/S Jutlandia A/S (Jens Toft A/S) of Copenhagen, taking the name of her new owner JENS TOFT.

She was sold in 1963 to Cinaba Comercio Industria e Nav Bandeirante S.A. of Santos, taking the name JORGE VELHO. In 1969 she passed to Nav Marcelinense Ltda and later in 1970 to "Marina" Maritima Nacional Ltda and renamed SAO MATEUS as which she was broken up at Recife in 1973.
